A Beginner’s Guide to Art Books served as an opening bumper to a series of educational videos and interviews curated by Currency Design. The aim of this bumper was to reference DIY culture and zine design through the use of an industrial printer. Digital animation was printed out and scanned back in to create a jittery, pulsating halftone effect. It creates a sense of immediacy that is tied to the vibrant culture of book fairs and zine exchange.
