BandLab - Mix Editor & Sampler

This pair of advertisements was created to promote BandLab’s new music production features, the Mix Editor and the Sampler. Both advertisements use BandLab’s  Brand assets, particularly its shapes and colours, to showcase these new features.

The Mix Editor was created to showcase flexible use between different digital devices, moving from the phone, to the laptop and finally to ‘the Cloud’. This was designed with a continuous upward motion. Files and data moving from the tip of our fingers and transforming into abstract intangible shapes, representing the mobility and ease of music-making on the app.

The Sampler was created to showcase the use of the sampler feature which allows users to repeat and layer sounds. Similarly, I wanted to highlight those features by tessellating and layering shapes, creating complex designs from simple geometry.
